LARP stands for Live Action Role-Playing, which is a form of role-playing game where the participants portray characters in many different situations and scenarios. I particularly follow the Nordic Larp tradition. Larp for me is a safe way to experience many different situations, feelings and emotions.
“We have experienced the inner dynamics of hundreds of societies, thousands of families. Our art might be based in games of make-believe, but by enacting those beliefs with our whole bodies, we make temporary realities.”
Larps allow us to immerse in different realities, which brought me so many real feelings and life experiences that I won’t forget. Larps is a way to put yourself in a situation where you can explore it, but at anytime you can stop and reflect about it.
Not only I play larps, but I also design them. You can find my posts about my game experiences, and also some of the games I designed.
